(b. 1995) Val is a Panamanian photographer, director and artist working across the creative industry, with a unique eye for fashion and commercial work. Based between LATAM and Europe, her work focuses on elevating the mundane through a fusion of documentary and fiction. Elements of the feminine and her personal experiences shape her visual approach and can be found throughout her imagery.

She works between digital and analogue formats, maintaining a strong sense of experimentation within her craft. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in art fairs, galleries and publications. In 2022, she released her first photozine HODT. She has also collaborated with a wide range of brands and clients worldwide

She graduated from International Center of Photography Creative Practices Program in New York.
